About Me

From ages 13-17, I worked at CMS Custom Rods, starting as a rod wrapper and then ending as a rod builder. When I was 18, I started working commercially on a dragger in Cape Cod Bay at the age of 18 fishing for flounder and cod fish. Then I started offshore lobstering from 23-27 years old. Thats where my love for offshore fishing began, as we got chances to catch mahi and tuna, trolling around the Dump on the Lobster Boat. I started Scalloping at around 30 years old, for 6 years. I got promoted to Engineer by 3rd trip, where most trips were 5-16 days long.

I started to get into Tuna fishing when I lived on Nantucket, working for a charter boat, waiting tables, building rods and general carpentry. Fast Fwd to now, having my own charter business, Dying Breed Sportfishing.
